OUR PHYSICAL THERAPY APPROACH COMES FROM A MANUAL THERAPY FUNCTIONAL-BASED EXERCISE BACKGROUND.
Some of our advanced skills include:
CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
A gentle, hands-on approach that aims to enhance your natural healing abilities by manipulating the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. We use subtle techniques to release tension and promote relaxation, potentially alleviating various physical and emotional ailments.
Certification: Level one course through the Upledger Institute
MANUAL THERAPY
We practice hands-on techniques to manipulate soft tissues and joints to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore function. This approach may include joint and soft tissue mobilizations tailored to your individual needs for optimal rehabilitation.
Certifications and advanced courses taken from the University of St.Augustine for Health Sciences:
Extremity Evaluation and Manipulation and Integration
Myofascial Manipulation
Spinal Evaluation & Manipulation
Advanced Evaluation & Manipulation of Pelvis
Lumbar & Thoracic Spine IncludingThrust and of the CranioFacial
Cervical & Upper Thoracic Spine

Everything changes when the feet hit the ground —Biomechanics of human gait
DRY NEEDLING
Dry needling is a technique we use to relieve muscle pain and stiffness. It involves inserting thin needles into muscle trigger points, stimulating a twitch response, and promoting muscle relaxation and improved blood flow.
Certification: The Spinal Manipulation & Dry Needling Institute: DryNeedling for Craniofacial, Cervicothoracic & Upper Extremity
PILATES
Pilates in physical therapy involves a series of exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, and body awareness, often focusing on core stability and alignment. Integrating Pilates into our programs can help patients rehabilitate from injuries, improve posture, and enhance overall movement efficiency.
Certification: Mat - Certified BASI Pilates
SACROILIAC JOINT
We address pain and dysfunction in the sacroiliac joint, which connects the spine to the pelvis. Therapists employ targeted exercises, manual techniques, and modalities to improve joint stability, mobility, and overall function, aiming to alleviate discomfort and restore normal movement patterns.
Certification: Using The Hersh Method of Manual Therapy
GAIT ANALYSIS
Gait analysis is a method for assessing and analyzing how a person walks or runs. By examining factors such as stride length, foot placement, and body alignment, gait analysis helps identify biomechanical abnormalities.
Certification: “When the feet hit the ground everything changes” Biomechanics of human gait
KINESIO TAPE
A brand of kinesiology tape designed to support and relieve muscles and joints during physical activity. Its unique adhesive and stretch properties make it popular among athletes and individuals seeking targeted pain management and enhanced performance.
Certification: ROCK TAPE - Functional Movement Techniques
SHOULDER REHAB
We have enjoyed treating shoulders for over 25 years and have the skills for alignment. We focus heavily on scapular stabilization and postural stability to have a solid foundation for rotator cuff strengthening and optimal scapular humeral rhythm.
Goals of Physical Therapy:
